* UW-Milwaukee's Writing Center seeks tutors for Fall 2012. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. The sooner you apply, the more likely you are to obtain a position for Fall 2012. In recent years, several graduate students in History have worked as tutors. For more information, see the following link:

* May 6, 2012--Start of Open Enrollment for Fall 2012
* May 29, 2012--First Day of Classes for Summer (1st Summer Term)
* July 29, 2012--Approximate Date when Tuition Assessments will appear in PAWS
* August 3, 2012--Last day to register for Fall 2012 without paying $200 minimum tuition deposit
* August 28, 2012--Last day to withdraw from Fall 2012 courses without charge or for full refund. Deadline for students registered by August 3 to pay full fees or a minimum $200.00 tuition deposit to hold classes.
* August 29, 2012--Cancellation of registration of students who fail to meet August 28 payment deadline.
* August 29, 2012--September 17, 2012--Late Registration Period
* September 4, 2012--First Day of Classes for Fall 2012

* June 8, 2012-- Informal Deadline to Verify Thesis/Dissertation Format with the Graduate School (for individuals graduating in Summer 2012 who previously applied to graduate in Spring 2012)
* June 15, 2012—Deadline to Defend a Thesis, Dissertation, or Comprehensive Exam (for individuals graduating in Summer 2012 who previously applied to graduate in Spring 2012)
* June 22, 2012—Deadline to Submit a Thesis or Dissertation to the Graduate School (for individuals graduating in Summer 2012 who previously applied to graduate in Spring 2012)
* August 6, 2012— Deadline to Defend a Thesis, Dissertation, or Comprehensive Exam (for individuals graduating in Summer 2012)
* August 13, 2012—Deadline to Submit a Thesis or Dissertation to the Graduate School (for individuals graduating in Summer 2012)
* September 18, 2012--Deadline to Apply to Graduate in Fall 2012
* December 3, 2012— Deadline to Defend a Thesis, Dissertation, or Comprehensive Exam (for individuals graduating in Summer 2012)
