Deadline to Apply for Summer Graduation: June 1, 2012

If a graduate student originally applied to graduate in May 2012 but still has degree requirements to complete over the summer, the graduate student must reapply to graduate by June 1, 2012 if the student wishes to graduate in August.

The deadline to defend an MA or PhD thesis for Summer Graduation is: August 6, 2012

The deadline to submit a final, signed thesis for Summer Graduation is: 8/13/12

"If you already applied to graduate in May 2012 but will be finishing your degree requirements in the Summer, please contact me, as you will be considered an August Graduate and we will need to remove you from May graduation.

If you applied to graduate in a past semester but didn't finish, you will need to re-apply for graduation when you wish Graduate School to review your records again in the future. You will NOT be billed another $40 fee if it has already been billed.

TO APPLY FOR GRADUATION, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

Go to www.paws.uwm.edu
Enter your E Panther ID & Password
On your Student Center Page, under the Academics Section, click on "other academic" drop down listing
Select "Apply for Graduation" and then click on the arrow
Simply follow the instructions to complete the online graduation process. A confirmation page will appear following the submission of your application.

Thesis deadlines for August 2012 are: Defend by 8/6/12 and submit final, signed thesis by 8/13/12

August graduates are invited to the DECEMBER COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY
