Gallery Night: March To Equality-200 Nights In Milwaukee - 4/20/2012 - Milwaukee Public Schools:

"The 1960s-the years of seeking equality. Learn and witness the 1960s, a time when Father Groppi, Vel Phillips, the NAACP Youth Council and other activists changed Milwaukee's history forever. The exhibition, created by Nova High School students, will leave you filled with knowledge about the Milwaukee Civil Rights Movement. You will see the city of Milwaukee from different perspectives and realize that Milwaukee's future, with the help of its youth, can be infinitely brighter.

-Experience the 1967 March on Milwaukee.
-Learn about how much people sacrificed for equality.
-Experience what it's like to live through 200 nights.

Friday, April 20th, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. & Saturday, April 21st, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
